
Jesse Graham
Jesse is Executive Director of the Maine People’s Alliance (MPA) and the Maine People’s Resource Center (MPRC) a statewide grassroots community organization with 32,000 members-one in every 17 households across the state and involving more than 9000 volunteers in a variety of campaigns. Jesse has worked at MPA since 1999 as a canvass director, community organizer and associate director. Most recently Jesse helped lead successful campaigns to raise the minimum wage to $12/hour and to pass Medicaid expansion which will cover an additional 70,000 Mainer’s and bring the $500,000,000 into the states economy –creating 4000 new jobs. Under Jesse’s leadership MPA recently launched a Senior Care for all Campaign to tax the rich and provide in home care to all Maine seniors. He lives in Bar Harbor with his wife Dory and two children Porter and Alden.
