Adamu Chan

Adamu Chan is a writer and San Francisco Bay Area native incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison. He uses his perspective and experience as an incarcerated person as a lens to focus the reader’s gaze on issues related to social justice. Adamu draws inspiration and energy from the work of James Baldwin, Audre Lorde, John Coltrane and the Arts Movement of his time, Hip-Hop.
