Diego Navarrete is the Migrant Leader School Coordinator with We The People Michigan. He was born in Mexico and migrated with his family at a young age to Detroit, Michigan. Diego has been fighting for his community since the age of 14 and is a recent graduate from Harvard College, where organized with other undocumented members of the Boston community. His work centers the empowerment of all undocumented folks to participate in the governing process and aims to build multilingual, multi-generational immigrant power in Michigan.
