Ellen David Friedman is a longtime organizer with the National Education Association in Vermont, a founding member of Vermont’s Progressive Party, and a member of the Labor Notes Policy Committee. She facilitates the United Caucuses of Rank-and-File Educators (UCORE), the national network of progressive teacher union caucuses.
