Rebecca Williams

Rebecca Williams is a writer, lawyer, and artist exploring how technology shapes power, government, and our relationships with one another. She is driven by a belief that technology should support human dignity, not control it, and that systems must be designed to foster plurality, participation, and care rather than punishment and surveillance. She is currently the Senior Strategist for Privacy and Data Governance at the ACLU, serves on the board of MuckRock, and teaches Information and Human Rights at Pratt Institute.
