Michael Goldfield

Michael Goldfield is a former labor union and civil rights activist, Professor Emeritus and currently Faculty Fellow at the Douglas Fraser Center for the Study of Workplace Issues, part of Labor@Wayne at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is the author of numerous books and articles on labor, civil rights, and the global economy, including “The Decline of Organized Labor in the United States”; “The Color of Politics: Race and the Mainsprings of American Politics”; “Labour, Globalization, and the State”; and most recently “The Southern Key: Class, Race, and Radicalism in the 1930s and 1940s.”
