Sandra Lane
Sandra Jeong Lane (she/her) is the Education Director for Bargaining for the Common Good at the Rutgers Center for Innovation in Worker Organizing. She has organized with workers across the East and West Coasts for over a decade. At the healthcare union HPAE, Sandra worked with union members in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to run contract campaigns and fight for legislation that put patients over profits. Sandra also worked with SEIU 32BJ representing airport workers, cleaners, and security guards to grow union membership, organized with the Communications Workers of America (CWA) to develop a political activist program to influence key elections across Pennsylvania, and ran education programs for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) throughout the Pacific Northwest. She studied at the University of California Santa Cruz and completed her masters in Labor Studies at the University of Massachusetts.
